Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Snipster is a booking platform connecting clients with barbers and salons in Switzerland. We facilitate appointment scheduling, payments, reviews, and a loyalty points programme (Snippoints). We act as an intermediary — the service contract is between you and the salon/barber.

2. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials. One account per person. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

3. Bookings & Cancellations

• Bookings are subject to salon availability and confirmation
• Free cancellation up to 2 hours before the appointment
• Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a fee set by the salon
• Salons may cancel bookings with reasonable notice
• Repeated no-shows may result in account restrictions

4. Snippoints Loyalty Programme

• Points are earned through completed bookings and reviews
• Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred
• Redeemed discount codes are valid for 90 days
• We reserve the right to modify the points programme with 30 days notice
• Fraudulent point accumulation will result in account termination

5. Reviews

Reviews must be honest and based on actual experiences. Fake reviews, harassment, or discriminatory content will be removed and may result in account suspension. Salons may respond to reviews publicly.

6. Prohibited Conduct

• Impersonating another person or entity
• Submitting false or misleading information
• Attempting to manipulate bookings, reviews, or points
• Using the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Scraping, crawling, or automated access without permission

7. Limitation of Liability

Snipster facilitates connections between clients and service providers. We are not liable for the quality of services provided by salons or barbers. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid through our platform in the preceding 12 months.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Swiss law. Any disputes shall be resolved through the competent courts of Zurich, Switzerland. For consumer disputes, the consumer's place of residence may apply as required by Swiss consumer protection law.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms with 30 days advance notice via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
